DIMB / INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Information about data processed by the dimb website and the signup form for the free open-deck list and launch updates.

Data controller and contact

The data controller is Kamil Micota, who runs the dimb project. For privacy questions and requests about your data, email [email protected]. You can also use this address to withdraw consent.

Data we process and why

When you submit the form, we store your email address, city, selected role, optional message, and the date and scope of your consent. We use this information to maintain the dimb interest list, manually prepare and send a free list of open decks for the week ahead on Sunday mornings, and share dimb launch updates. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form for automated spam. We do not send an automatic confirmation email.

Legal basis

We process signup information and send email updates on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing the controller; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal. We process technical information needed to secure the form and prevent abuse on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Recipients and transfers outside the EEA

Cloudflare can access data as needed to provide website hosting, Workers, D1 database storage, and Turnstile protection. I send the open-deck list manually using an email service; if I use Gmail, Google is the email provider. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in their privacy documentation and data-processing agreements, including appropriate transfer safeguards.

How long we keep data

We keep your email address, city, role, and message for no longer than 12 months from signup. After that, the signup will be automatically deleted from the database. If you sign up again with the same email address, the 12-month period starts from the new signup. You can also withdraw consent earlier by emailing the controller, and we will delete your signup. Copies of emails sent manually may remain in the sender’s mailbox until they are deleted.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, or restriction of your data and, where GDPR provides, data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl). Contact the controller at [email protected] to exercise your rights.

Whether data is required

Providing an email address, city, and role is voluntary, but necessary to join the list and receive updates. The message field is optional. We do not make decisions about you solely by automated means or carry out profiling.
